Merry Christmas from all of us at “OC Fitness Mama“! This has been an AMAZING year for the studio, clients and our community. In March of 2014 we expanded the studio which has allowed us to add classes and also bring on a new yoga/pilates instructor as well. With having some of the BEST trainers and instructors in the “OC” the studio has been very well received in the community. It has be-come a place for women to get in shape and make new friends. The small group training workouts help to curb the cost of one-on-one training, yet help women still get the results they are looking for at a fraction of the cost. The new classes offer women a way for women to fit in a workout that also fits their budget and helps them get results too. We have been blessed to have more space to help more women feel better about the bodies from the in-side out.

Would you be willing to do to risk your integrity, sanity, health, even possible your life to lose some weight??? The answer to this question is NOT a joke, but a very real question and an important one too! Some women and men are actually falling for a diet that has made its way back, just like an old fashion statement that shows up every 10 year or so…It is made from the synthetic hormone called: human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) which it actually released naturally during pregnancy to sustain the embryo. The way to describe it best is that when a non-pregnant person takes it, the hormone signals there’s a hungry baby embryo inside you and it helps the body to release stored body fat. However, the shots alone won’t create the weight- loss unless you cut your calories down to only 500 calories a day.The hormone is suppose to help curb your appetite and help with losing weight.
You are what you eat is so true! The choices that we make on a daily basis are very important to our health, bodies, energy level and insides. If we eat a lot of fruits, veggies, & complex carbohydrates are bodies are going to have lots of energy and we will be increasing our fiber too.
March is National Nutrition Month…the first thing that comes to my mind as a mother and wife myself is how are other fitness mama’s are feeding their families? My question to you would be are you cooking dinner at night? Are you shopping and making an easy, yet nutritious breakfast for your children?
Happy belated New Year to all you fitness mama’s out there! By now most you have already made your New Year’s resolutions and possibly already thrown in the towel.
As I reflect back on this year I realize more than ever that family is more important than anything. Our families our the corner-stone of our lives. However, our health is too and without good health we cannot enjoy our families to the fullest. If you are not taking good care of your health then eventually disease and illness may fall upon you.
As a personal trainer & health coach having my clients set goals and reach them is something I believe in and encourage them to do. When I first start with a client we talk about what kind of goals they have and how important they are to them. Having a time-line to reach your goals in is very important.
