Happy Be-lated New Year!

Happy belated New Year to all you fitness mama’s out there! By now most you have already made your New Year’s resolutions and possibly already thrown in the towel.

Very common for most women to have already given up all their fitness & food goals for the year by Valentines Day, sad but true. I want to encourage you to avoid thinking of your New Year’s resolutions as just that and start to think of your goals? as New Beginnings…think about how you can help improve your health one day at a time for the rest of your life. Not just for the year 2013, but for all the years to come. You see, when we feed into the New Year’s Resolution weight loss gimmick, it’s just that a gimmick. When in reality it should be a way to start creating healthy change one day at a time for 21 day’s until it becomes a healthy habit. Then once you are exercising & eating healthy for 21 day’s at a time it not only starts to become a new and wonderful healthy habit, it also starts to become a lifestyle. Often times when women make New Years Resolutions they don’t think of them as lifestyle changes, but more like temporary changes. Once you start to instill a different mind-set and more long-term thinking only then will all your goals become a reality. So this year take your fitness and healthy eating goals to a new level and try to exercise and eat healthy daily. If you are consistent and do it long enough you will start to feel better and reap the rewards of your new mind-set and long-term thinking. Making changes takes time, so have patience and “Stay the Course”! You will slowly but surely reap? the results you so desire…
