January is a great month to dig your heels in and start ‘MOVING YOUR BODY”! ?At “OC Fitness Mama”, we are tying to think of ways to get our clients moving in the right direction and with that in mind we have come up with the perfect thing. We have discovered a FREE APP ?called “Map My Fitness”…It is a great app that includes a GPS that tracks your walking & running too.
Every time you walk or run at the studio or outdoors it tracks your workouts for you…It also includes your time, steps, distance and many other things. You can also choose an activity turn on your app and start exercising. If you do a weight training workout in the studio with your ?trainer you can also log that workout into your personal information. One of the best features of all is that you can add friends and help motivate & cheer each other on. You can also log your food and see how many calories you are having daily too. Having a community and a support system has been found to encourage women to get moving. If your goals are to feel better, fit into your favorite jeans, wear that bathing suit that you have been wanting to wear for years this summer and to feel younger…than down-load the app and join us with all the fun. Find your friends and you can also share this great information with your female ?co-workers and invite them to get moving as well. Movement = prevention, weight loss and also a better quality of life. After all no-one is going to do this for you so you might as well get going and get MOVING!
